Using the camera and the modern digital darkroom, Neil creates images that evoke a sense of place and event with poignancy and emotion. He blends the stark realism of the photo with inspirational and expressionist aspects of the graphic arts until he has created a unique work, guided by the eye, hand and spirit of the artist to bring out new and often different meaning than the first captured photograph.
