
Our restaurant is a unique combination of fine dining with a comfortable, casual atmosphere. The menu is diverse, with many specials, including vegetarian food. We specialize in fresh, local produce, meats and seafood. In the spring we feature fiddleheads, the delicious young shoots of ferns. Sweet local asparagus, miniature potatoes and baby beets follow next. Summer brings peaches-and-cream corn on the cob, sugar snap peas and fragrant lavender. In autum the Island abounds with exotic squash and pumpkins. Late-picked crabapples and winter sorrel are harvested, along with Island kiwi fruit and many varieties of grapes. We are proud to use fresh locally produced ingredients, and prepare dishes in health conscious and full-flavoured style.
